The new cast includes Ruby Cruz, Erin Kellyman, Ellie Bamber, Tony Revolori, and Amar Chadha-Patel as Willow's companions.

Has 'Willow' been renewed for more seasons?

As of November 29, Disney Plus has yet to renew "Willow" for future seasons. Since the show isn't being promoted as a miniseries, Disney seems to be leaving the door open for "Willow" to receive a second season.

Is Val Kilmer in the 'Willow' series?

Val Kilmer ("Top Gun: Maverick") starred in the original "Willow" movie as the rogue swordsman and secondary protagonist, Madmartigan. While Joanne Whalley is returning as Madmartigan's warrior wife Sorsha, Kilmer will not be reprising his role in the Disney Plus TV show.

Kilmer was reportedly unable to return following his recovery from throat cancer, but the producers confirmed that Madmartigan will still be part of the show in a "big way." Considering Madmartigan is the father of the prominent new characters Kit and Airk, their "Willow" quest is set to focus significantly on Kilmer's character. Showrunner Jon Kasdan is still hopeful that Kilmer can appear as the swordsman at some point in the show's future.
